Përshkrimi: bimë barishtore shumëvjecare 90 – 150cm. Gjethet të rrumbullkëta ose vezake ato bazale shumë më të mëdha se ato të kërcellit. Kaptinëzat të venddosura në një lulesë në formë vastaku 3 – 3.5cm të gjera. Braktet e mbështjellës të shogëta.
Përhapja në Kosovë: në vende të djerra afër vendbanimeve, afër rrugëve, buzë pyjeve etj.
Pjesët e përdorshme: rrënjët e thara ( Bardanae Radix ), gjethet dhe frutat.
Vjelja: rrënjët vjelen në Vjeshtë X – XII dhe në Pranverë II – IV.
Tharja: në furra në shtresa deri në 20cm, në temp 60°C.
Raporti: 4:1.
Kategoria terapeutike: diuretik, rregullimin e lëkurës.
Përdorimi: tradicionalisht është përdorur rrënja në raste të sëmundjeve gastrointestinale, gjethet janë perorur kundër ekzemave.
Përgaditja dhe doza: nga rrënjët përgaditet infuzion i ftohtë, i cili përdoret për nevoja të brendshme, kurse vaji i nxjerrë nga rrënja përdoret si zbutës i jashtëm i lëkurës, rrit flokët dhe kundër reumatizmit.
