Pjesët e përdorshme: rrënja ( Althaeae radix ), lulja ( Althaeae flos ), gjethi ( Althaeae folium ).

Vjelja: vjelja e rrënjëve të bimëve dy ose tri vjeçare bëhet në vjeshtë ( X – XI ) dhe pranverë ( II – IV ). Lulet dhe gjethet vjelen gjatë pranverës dhe verës.

Tharja: në dhomë të freskëta ose furra në shtresa deri 20cm deri 50 °C ( gjethi dhe lulja ), deri 60 °C ( rrënja ).
Raporti: 4:1 ( rrënja), 5:1 ( gjethi ), 6:1 ( lulja ).

Kategoria terapeutike: anti – irritant, ekspektorant.

Përdorimi: tradicionalisht është përdorur kunder kollitjes, ftohjes, ulcerave, inflamacionit të gojës, fytit dhe mushkëerive.

Përgaditja dhe doza: brenda ditës rekomandohet të përdoren 6gr rrënjë ose 5gr gjethe, që përgaditen si çaj në ujë të vakët.
