Description: Is a powerful herbaceous perennial plant, 10-50 cm height with glabrous leaves or dense hair. The underground part (rhizomes) covered with stipules remains. The leaves 7-11 lobes, semicircular or triangular to ovate green. The stem leaves are smaller with toothed edges. Heirless flower or with hair underneath.
Distribution in Kosovo: Spread in lawns and humid places, near resources in mountainous and sub-alpine areas.
Parts used: Entire aerial part (herb) during flowering (Alchemillae herba)
Harvest time: After flowering as of month V-IX begins.
Drying: Aerial part (herb) shall be dried in the drying oven in temp 45-50 0C or under the shade. Ratio: 4:1.
Therapeutic category: Astringent, anti–haemorrhagic
Use: It is usually used in curing diarrhoea.
Preparation and dosage: For curing diarrhoea is used 5-10 gr. of dried mass per day and it shall be taken as tea.
